Tropicaire Humidifier and Air Exchanger with Air Pump #16262

A great addition to any indoor cultivation environment. Used to supply constant humid fresh air to your closed or semi-closed system. Eliminates or reduces manual misting and fanning! Large cultivation environments may require multiple units, larger air pumps, or suplimental misting/fanning. Supplied with air pump! All parts and tubing are lincluded to get you going right away! To prepare your unit for use, fill the Tropicaire with clean water to maximum water line. Connect air stone to the short tubing stem and attach to the nipple on the inside of lid. Conntect tubing from air pump to the same nipple, opposite side on the exterior of the lid. Screw on the lid and attach long tubing to unused exterior nipple. Connect the small plastic air distribution wand (small hard plastic tube with holes and black cap) to the end of the long tubing. Place distribution want in cultivation environment with supplied suction clamps (see pictures below). Air pump and Tropicaire unit sit external to your cultivation chamber, only the small distribution wand is placed inside. Fresh air is pumpted into the Tropicaire through the submerged airstone and the humid positive pressure environment created inside forces fresh moist air out through the tubing and into the distribution wand. Refill Tropicair when water reaches minimum fill line (or the bottom of the blue sponge). Humidity efficiency increases dramatically in covered containers with minimal air leakage. Supplimental misting or fanning may be required for excessively dry local climates or mushroom species that require high rates of air exchange (such as Oyster Mushrooms).
